Diedrich Coffee began in Costa Rica in 1916, when Charlotte Diedrich inherited a coffee plantation. Her son Carl traveled world wide and studied the art and craft of roasting. Carl passed along his wealth of knowledge to his sons, Stephan and Martin, who have each embraced the art of coffee-making in their own way.
